NESC STRATEGY REPORTS
Since 1987, the National Economic and Social Council has undertaken a three-yearly overview of Irish economic and social development and challenges. These reports provide the analytical basis for negotiation of Ireland’s social partnership programmes.
The seven Strategy reports are:
- No. 83, A Strategy for Development 1986 – 1990;
- No. 89, A Strategy for the Nineties: Economic Stability and Structural Change;
- No. 96, A Strategy for Competitiveness, Growth and Employment the Council;
- No. 99, Strategy into the 21st Century;
- No. 105, Opportunities, Challenges and Capacities for Choice;
- No. 111, An Investment in Quality: Services, Inclusion and Enterprise; and
- No. 114, NESC Strategy 2006: People, Productivity and Purpose.
