{"id":4283,"date":"2022-04-11T23:58:16","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T22:58:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nesc.ie\/?post_type=publications&#038;p=4283"},"modified":"2026-04-29T16:43:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T15:43:57","slug":"shared-island-shared-opportunity-nesc-comprehensive-report","status":"publish","type":"publications","link":"https:\/\/www.nesc.ie\/ga\/publications\/shared-island-shared-opportunity-nesc-comprehensive-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Shared Island Shared Opportunity: NESC Comprehensive Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Government\u2019s Shared Island Initiative the Department of the Taoiseach requested NESC to undertake research and to produce a comprehensive report on the Shared Island, to inform the development of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/en\/campaigns\/c3417-shared-island\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shared Island Initiative<\/a>\u00a0as a whole of Government priority.<\/p>\n<p>This report is the culmination of research on the Shared Island that NESC undertook over 2021.
