Economy, Resilience & Development

The Council is currently finalising work on Economy, Vulnerability and Resilience.  This work focuses on the nature of the Irish economy, its underlying strengths, areas of vulnerability.  It discusses various ways in which resilience can be understood and framed, in the face of continuing turbulence and fundamental crises of climate change and biodiversity loss.

A final report was discussed by the Council at its meeting on December 15. It is expected to be published in the first half of 2023.
